Robert Bienstock is a Connecticut artist.  He has been creating abstract drawings and paintings since 2011.  His work explores patterns composed of near-parallel lines that curve and curl.  He works with ink, acrylics and gesso on paper, monotype, and panel. 

He is a member of the Kehler Liddell Gallery in Westville, CT.  He has shown his art at the River Street Gallery in Fair Haven CT; the Brooklyn Waterfront Artists Coalition in Red Hook Brooklyn; Catalyst Gallery in Beacon NY; City Lights Gallery in Bridgeport CT; New Haven’s City Wide Open Studios; and various offices and hotels in Connecticut.

He works as Senior Associate General Counsel at Yale University, where he provides legal support to Yale’s research and technology activities, negotiating contracts, handling compliance issues, and providing policy analysis.He has been active in the National Association of College and University Lawyers, served on its Board of Directors from 2003-2006, and was the recipient of its Distinguished Service award in 2013. He was President of Congregation Nahalat Shalom in Albuquerque New Mexico in the late 1990s.
